Privacy Policy

1. General

다디비즈 ("Company") treats your personal information as important and complies with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. This Policy applies to the KORGOD (코갓) service.

2. Information We Collect

a. At registration — name (nickname), email address, Google account identifier (if using Google sign-in), profile photo (if provided).

b. Collected automatically during use — language setting, access logs, device information, push notification token.

c. During consultations — chat messages, voice message recordings and their transcriptions, translation results, consultation history.

d. When writing reviews — author name, rating, review content.

Note: We do not separately collect sensitive information (health, religion, political views). However, statements a User voluntarily makes during a consultation may be contained in the conversation records.

3. Purpose of Use

1. Member identification, sign-in, and account management;

2. Connecting Users with Readers and providing consultation records;

3. Providing AI translation and speech recognition;

4. Sending notifications for new messages and calls;

5. Responding to inquiries and handling disputes;

6. Improving service quality and preventing abuse.

4. Retention Period

1. Member information — until account withdrawal, then destroyed without delay.

2. Consultation records (chat, voice, translation) — retained for 1 year after the consultation ends for dispute handling, then destroyed.

3. Information required to be retained by law is kept for the applicable period:

· Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)

· Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)

· Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (E-Commerce Act)

· Access logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

5. Provision to Third Parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties, except:

1. Where the User has given prior consent;

2. Where the User's nickname and conversation content are delivered to the relevant Reader to the extent necessary to conduct the consultation;

3. Where required by investigative authorities through lawful procedures.

6. Outsourcing of Processing

We outsource the following processing in order to provide the Service:

· Google LLC — Google account authentication, AI speech recognition and translation;

· Anthropic PBC — AI text correction and translation.

Processors handle personal information only within the scope of the outsourced purpose, and we govern and supervise data protection through the outsourcing agreements.

7. Overseas Transfer

For AI translation and speech recognition, conversation content and audio files may be transmitted to the overseas servers of the processors listed above. By using the Service you are deemed to consent to this. If you do not consent, you may use the Service only to the extent that translation features are not required.

8. Your Rights

1. You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information.

2. You may withdraw your membership from the profile screen or through customer support.

3. Requests may be made to customer support (1522-6905) or by email ([email protected]); we will act without delay.

9. Destruction of Information

Personal information whose retention period has expired or whose purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are deleted by unrecoverable means; printed materials are shredded or incinerated.

10. Security Measures

1. Encryption in transit (HTTPS);

2. Encrypted storage of credentials;

3. Minimization of access rights and access control.

12. Changes to this Policy
